In-school Academic Tutor (Now through May 2026)

Applerouth is looking for several in-school small group 9th-grade math tutors in Fairburn from 8:15 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday, now through April 3, 2026 (following the Fulton County school schedule)

We’re looking for dedicated tutors and educators to join us in our next big push: helping elementary and middle school students throughout Fulton County strengthen their reading and math skills and overcome learning losses from pandemic-related school disruptions.

Current Needs:

• Role: 9th-grade math small group instructors (focusing on content missed from 8th-grade).
• Location: School located in Fairburn, GA.
• Schedule (Fixed): In-school from 8:15 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, following the Fulton County School Schedule.
• Base Pay: $25/hour.
• Travel Compensation: Plus, travel compensation for work done away from your primary work location.
• Duration: Now through April 3, 2026.

Requirements:

• Content knowledge of middle school and high school algebra
• Ability to explain concepts in multiple ways for students at different proficiency levels
• Previous experience working with children — e.g., tutoring, classroom support, mentoring, after-school programs, summer camps
• High school diploma (minimum)
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check and fingerprinting (required by the school district and fully reimbursed)
