What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Deliver 1-1 Instruction: Provide customized SAT, ACT, and academic subject tutoring primarily in-person (with additional online tutoring opportunities).
Target Growth: Analyze mock test results to tailor lesson plans to each student’s unique learning style and goals.
Collaborate & Report: Maintain clear communication with families and promptly submit session progress notes.
Schedule Consistency: Uphold a regular weekly tutoring schedule based on your availability during peak after-school and weekend hours.
What You Bring to the Table (Requirements)
Academic Mastery: Strong background in math, science, or reading/writing sections.
Content Validation: Ability to pass our short, pre-interview SAT/ACT content quiz.
Education Background: At least one year of college completed (ideal for current undergraduate/graduate students).
Logistics: Reliable transportation for local in-person sessions (NoVa area) and a reliable internet connection for online meetings/trainings.
Availability: Regular availability to service families during after-school hours and/or weekends.
